Well, we rounded up all the fast-food burgers that clock in at more than 1,000 calories. Think about it: most people, on average, consume 2,000 calories per day. So if one part of one meal is more than a day’s worth of calories, it’s very easy to go over that caloric limit. That’s why we’re rounding up the worst fast-food burgers that are shockingly high in calories, ranked from bad to the absolute biggest offender.

You might actually be surprised to find that there aren’t any burgers from McDonald’s on this list. Surprisingly, all of the burgers from Mickey D’s are under 1,000 calories. The biggest culprit is the Double Quarter-Pounder with Cheese, as it has 720 calories. That’s still scarily high, but not high enough to make it on this list.

Although it’s described as “It’s big. It’s classic. It’s got bacon,” this burger is no innocent menu option coming it at 1,150 calories. Along with the 1,260 calories it’s serving up, the burger is also packing 86 grams of fat and 4.5 grams of heart-harming trans fat.

So what’s on it? Well, it’s a Shake Shack cheeseburger that features a griddled jalapeño cheese sausage link, along with the signature ShackSauce and pickles.

Plus, it has more than 2,700 milligrams of sodium and The American Heart Association recommends a person should consume no more than 2,300 milligrams in an entire day.

Carl’s Jr strikes again! This burger might only consist of two charbroiled all-beef patties, unlike the previous burger which was packing three patties, but it contains all the same elements as its predecessor. Except there are some additions, such as the two slices of melted Pepper Jack cheese and jalapeño, which ramps up the calories, fat, and sodium. If you ate three of the regular Carl’s Jr double cheeseburgers, you would still consume fewer calories than this one burger, as those are only 380 calories each.

Besides the perplexity of taking on such a huge burger, it’s important to note that the 1,660 calories it contains are alarming, but the amount of fat and trans fat here is just as astronomically high.
